1) Data we collect are:
- Personal Contacts:
Your email address if you register with an email address. Your mobile number if you register with a mobile number. Your email address and mobile number when you contact our support.
Your email address and mobile number will not be seen to other users unless you decide to disclose them in your profile
- Personal Information that you may provide and therefore disclose on your profile and share with other users:
Name, username, socio-professional category, address, mobile number, services you are providing or seeking for, photos, videos, geography location, profile description, profiles you block, report, or add as favourite.
All information you provide on your profile is meant to be seen by the WeFind users only. WeFind ensures that the personal data the member has published on the application is strictly invisible to non-registered internet users and third parties. WeFind cannot be held liable for data published on its platform and disclosed by a member.
We provide the facility for you to populate certain personal information within your own app ‘profile’, comment on service providers and communicate with others. Also, whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on publicly viewable pages, that information will be publicly available and can be collected and used by others. For example, if you post your email address or mobile number, you may receive unsolicited messages. We cannot control who reads your posting or what other users may do with the information you voluntarily post, so we encourage you to exercise discretion and caution with respect to the degree of personal information you provide and the privacy settings you enable/disable.
- Communication data shared:
Communication data is stored on WeFind’s servers solely in order to provide the service that allows conversations to take place between members. Messages are strictly private and shall only implicate the members in question. No managers or employees hold or exercise any rights to view these conversations or the circumstances surrounding them, including those authorised to process data except in case of judicial request, legislative or administrative disposition and/or in case of element of proof provided by a member in the eventuality of a reporting.
- Device’s information:
When the member uses the application, WeFind collects server logs, which may include information such as IP addresses, operating systems or application crashes. WeFind cannot access its members' browsing history.
We may collect your Unique Device Identifier or “UDID”. The UDID is a special type of identifier that uniquely identifies your device and is used in software applications for providing a unique reference number for applications like those used by your mobile device.
2) No information collected from children
In principle, WeFind is intended for adults who are able to contract obligations in accordance with the legislation of the country in which the User is located. Minor or minor users must obtain the prior consent of their legal guardian before entering their data on WeFind.
WeFind will never knowingly ask or collect information from children. We are firmly committed to maintaining online privacy for all WeFind users, including children. We do not knowingly collect information about children or sell products to children. In accordance with the Online Child Protection Act, we will not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
3) How WeFind uses the collected data
The data collected by WeFind are necessary to the smooth operation and improvement of the service proposed by the app to the members. The data can also allow WeFind to realise statistical studies and marketing analysis relating to the use of the app and its services by the members. It allows WeFind to send promotional messages from advertisers and other partners via the application. However, WeFind never transfers any personal data of its members to such advertisers and partners.
WeFind can access, store and share the member’s personal data with authorised third parties in order to answer to a legal demand or to conform to legal obligations, to detect or prevent fraudulent activities or security attempt to the services, in application of the legislation.
We may disclose your information, including personal information in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of our business, a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.
4) Transfer of data outside the European Union
In connection with the provision of the Services, WeFind may transfer your Personal Data to countries that are not members of the European Union and have not been subject to a decision by the European Commission regarding the desirability of protection.
In this case, WeFind shall ensure that this transfer is carried out in compliance with the regulations in force by taking all appropriate measures and under the legal, technical and operational conditions and guarantees necessary to ensure the confidentiality and security of this data.
If you have an WeFind account, you have the ability to review and update your personal information within the service by opening your account and going to “Settings or Edit my profile”. More information about how to contact us is provided below. You also may close your account at any time by visiting the "Settings" page for your account. If you close your account, we will retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and record keeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, enforce or take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our Service or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law.
